The basic Roomba® warranty is one-year return to base. This means that we will carry out any necessary repairs at our base and return the item repaired. The customer will pay the cost of returning the unit to us. If the unit was "D.O.A" and reported to us within 7 days of receipt we will pay for its return.

There are certain exclusions and conditions to the warranty:

Industrial or commercial use: Roomba® is designed for domestic household use only. It is not suitable for industrial or commercial use. It is not designed for use in overly dirty conditions for example farms, pubs, clubs etc. It is not designed for use in wet conditions.

Non-maintenance of Roomba: Roomba's dust collection box must be emptied regularly. Roomba's filter system must be changed regularly. Roomba's large brush and spinning side brush must be cleaned regularly. It is very important to keep Roomba's bearings (on wheels and brushes) free of dirt, dust and hair. Failure to do any of the above may result in Roomba not performing as expected. This is not a fault of Roomba, it simply acknowledges the fact the dust collection box is smaller that that of a conventional vacuum cleaner, and therefore will need to be emptied more regularly; and that this electronic device works close to the floor and therefore needs to be maintained. The user must look after this complex electronic device.

Roomba's that are returned as "Faulty" that are found to require cleaning, due to lack of maintenance, will incur a £25.00 exc VAT cleaning charge, plus return delivery of £7.00 exc VAT.

Consumables: The rechargeable battery is a classed as consumable item with a warranty of six months return to base. Filters, and brushes are consumable items that carry no warranty. These items should be replaced at your own expense as required.
