Placing Your First Order

This page contains step-by-step instructions on how to place your first order.

How do I order from this site?
Follow the five simple steps below to add items to your Shopping Cart. The Shopping Cart is where you store items you intend to buy. You can always delete items from the Shopping Cart. When you find what you want simply click the 'Add to Cart' button on the item's product information page, or on the browse pages. Once you have added everything you want to the Shopping Cart select 'Checkout' or 'Google Checkout' the fastest option to purchase.

Find what you want to buy

Our Product search box is located in the left bar of every page and will help you find the exact item you are looking for within a few key strokes. There is also a Site search lower down on the left, in case there is a specific word or phrase in the site's content you are after.
Lastly, there is a list of 'Product Categories' on the Top left.

Step One: 'Cart Contents'
Check the contents of your Shopping Cart, if this is correct Click either the ''Checkout' or 'Google Checkout' Buttons

Step Two: 'Login/Register' - Normal Checkout
As this is your First Order you will have to register, simply complete the 'New?.....' Section. (This is under the 'Returning Customers' Login box.)
Please complete all relevant fields, and please note the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address we can use to communicate with you about your order, so please double-check it. You have to agree to our Terms at this point, please click the link if you wish to read these, they can also be printed out as desired. If filled in correctly, you will then see this message:-
"Info: Registration Complete! Your account has been created and activation link has been sent to the e-mail address you entered. Note that you must activate the account by clicking on the activation link when you get the e-mail before you can login."
Then simply close the current page and w
ith your login email (usually received within 2 minutes) click on the activation link which will log you into the site automatically in a new browser window.
Select 'Show Cart' on the left menu and then select 'Checkout', this time you will see your billing details and shipping details below, where you can select a separate 'Shipping address' as necassary. Select 'Next'.

Step Three: 'Shipping Method'
Please select the shipping method you would like to use, see
Delivery Options. Then Select 'Next'.

Step Four: 'Payment Method'
Please select the Payment method you would like to use, see Payment FAQs. Then Select 'Next'.

Step Five : 'Complete Order'
Please check that all address and contact details are correct.
(These details can be modified by clicking the links under the various cart stages at the top of the cart page.)
Once you are satisfied that your details are correct click the 'Confirm Order' Button.
You will then either be directed to one of our Secure Online payment Gateways, PayPal or Google Checkout, where you will enter your credit/Debit card details, or if you selected 'Credit Card Payment' you will stay on our site and will be advised of order number.

FAQs - Ordering

Can I call Impexonline to place an order?
Orders can be placed over the telephone, although if you use a new Visa or Mastercard which requires a PIN number to be entered, you will be required to place your order online as we can't accept your PIN number over the phone.

Can I order without registering an account?
Currently you do have to register an account to make an order, but this is mainly to allow you to keep a track of your orders. View your account via the
Account Maintenance link on the left middle area of the page. - PLEASE NOTE:- This will only be displayed if you are logged in and have activated your account.

I have been sent the wrong item, how do I report this?
If you have been sent the incorrect item then please visit our Returns section to report this to us. Once we receive this info you will be issued with a RMA number to return the wrong item to us. The RMA will be given special priority and you will receive the correct item as soon as possible.

Can I change the delivery address on my order?
Please visit our Contact Us section and select the relevant department. Then complete the form with your question.

My order is in "Pending" status, what does this mean?
Once you have submitted your order and payment details successfully your order status is set to "Pending". This means that your order has been received by our system and is in the queue to be processed. Order processing takes place between 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. Orders placed at weekends or Bank Holidays get processed on the next working day.

What time should orders be placed for Next Day delivery?
If you have selected a Next Day delivery then the cut-off for this is 3:30pm. This information assumes that all items on your order are in stock and that there are no problems with your payment details. Please Note: If you select a Next Day delivery on a Friday, then you will receive your order on the following Monday. There are Saturday delivery options available.

When I ordered I did not receive a stock warning but now the product is out of stock?
Our web site uses a realtime stock system which changes constantly throughout the day. In the rare event that two customers order the same product at the same time with only one of the product left in stock, neither customer gets a stock warning and only one customer gets the last item in stock. Your order will be placed on back order and despatched as soon as new stock arrives.

I would like to cancel my order, how do I do this?
